The main idea behind creating this model was to combine the best features of our small-wave boards into one ultimate design — and that’s how the Hammer was born.
With a modern and bold concept, this board performs exceptionally well in weaker surf, offering great speed, control, and quick response.
Its outline is fuller, with more area through the center and nose. The rocker is low and flat, featuring an extra “quick” kick in the tail that allows for tighter turns in critical sections. The bottom contour combines a single concave with a double concave between the fins.
To maintain volume despite its shorter length, the deck has a subtle dome with balanced volume distribution, while the rails are rounded, softer, and slightly lower for smooth transitions.
We recommend riding it 3 to 4 inches shorter than your standard performance board.
